In the St Louis area, Bi-Lingual International Assistant Services now offers help to become a United States citizen for persons 60 years of age or older.

Study materials are provided at no cost. A tutor can work with the person at home, one-on-one, in English or the person’s primary language.

To participate, the person must have been a legal Missouri resident for at least 5 years. For anyone who qualifies to take a citizenship test in another language, there are free interpretation services available during testing. This program is funded by the Missouri Department of Health and Senior Services.
