The Social Security Administration and the Federal Trade Commission are alerting the American public about an online scam that has the email subject of "Get Protected". This email appears to be from the SSA and speaks about new features that monitor unauthorized use of one's Social Security number. SSA advises not to open to the link or any of the attachments.
